Consider this my Holiday Greetings

TL;DR: Happy Holidays, from our family, to yours!

Okay, with that out of the way… We are in the depths of the Holiday season, and this is when bloggers like myself are looking for cheap and easy content to throw up on our websites. Luckily, throwing out a quick post, thanking our readers for their support, and wishing them a safe and happy holiday season pretty much is perfect for these purposes.

So, “Happy Holidays” to you and yours. Hopefully you are safe, sound, and remain that way for the foreseeable future.

Now, with that out of the way, what can I write to pad this out a bit? I’d write a bit about my personal travails this year, be it health issues or otherwise, but I’m saving that particular bitch-fest for next week’s “New Years” post. 2020 may have been a Hell-year for all of us, but it at least can be mined for content in a retrospective post!

I could talk about the games I’ve enjoyed this year, but I suspect you are all sick of hearing about “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” and solo tabletop roleplaying, by now. If you aren’t, feel free to subscribe to my solo Actual-Play roleplaying podcast, “Ronin Roleplaying”. It’s fun, and it absolutely won’t make you question your will to live… I promise!

Of course, I could talk a bit about what I’m thankful for, since I skipped that during Thanksgiving last month. Unfortunately, that’s a pretty dead subject, since I’m basically just thankful for my sweet wife Ten, my dogs, and to still be alive.

I’d toss in some thoughts from Beoulus, my brother and co-host on the “Loot Mechanics” podcast, but he’s too busy being himself to actually contribute to the blog. Hell, I can barely goad him into talking on the podcast… How am I supposed to get him to write something here? Nevertheless, I’m sure he wishes all of you well this Holiday season.

Anyway, that’s about it. Wear your seatbelts, don’t drink and drive, remember to wear a mask in public (and wear it correctly!), and follow all social distancing guidelines. Don’t be the choad who got Grandma sick with the ‘Rona!
