So y’all might know that I’m a bit of an Xbox Fanboy. Just a little bit, nothing major… But yeah, I’m Team Green all the way, ever since I bought my Xbox Series X back in August 2023.
Anyway, that’s neither here nor there.
Now then, my XSX works just fine, but I’ve been thinking of upgrading to a newer, better model, should the opportunity (and money) appear to me. Mine only has 512GB of storage on-board, although I also have an expansion memory module to help hold games, and an external SSD for video and screenshots and other media. In short, it’s working fine, but it’s also a bit old, and upgrades are out there, should I come into some extra cash.
Again, that’s neither here nor there.
But boy do I love me some Xbox! Not only can I enjoy a vast amount of games through Game Pass, or that I own, I can play many of them for no additional cost on my laptop. I can then easily take those games on the go, especially the ones that don’t require an online connection to play, and keep those games synced up between the two devices. It is literally the best of both worlds!
But as I said before, that’s neither here nor there. Fanboy. Got it.
Anyway, now I’m presented with a conundrum. Microsoft will be dropping a Limited edition of the XSX this November, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Xbox, and my Gawd… this thing is Sex, Chocolate, and a Cherry Red mint-condition 1965 Ford Mustang, all in one.
Daddy. Wants.
I mean, just look at it. The translucent green case, the matching controller, the 1TB of onboard storage (would have preferred 2TB, but whatever). It is just so… *shivers*… gawddamn beautiful, isn’t it? Then I could wipe my current Xbox, make the Limited Edition one my primary, and, ohhhhhh…
I can just feel that shiny new controller in my hands, right now!
Now the question is, where do I find a spare $800-ish in this economy?
