What in the actual f**k?!?
Yes, there is a tabletop roleplaying game based upon the iconic sci-fi/horror B-movie, “Plan 9 From Outer Space“, so now that’s a thing you know. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the campy fun to be found in Ed Wood Jr’s classic 1950’s romp, but I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
That said, this is just the sort of game that would be great for a Spooky Season one-shot with your group. It isn’t scary, but is horror-adjacent enough to fit the overall holiday vibe, and the campy nature of the source material just lends itself to some silly fun.
Also, it is graveyard-dirt cheap on Drive-Thru RPG, so there’s that, too.
