A new beginning

So I’ve started livestreaming again.

The technical details are as such: I have a new Xbox-branded headset, that doesn’t sound great, but it is acceptable for a casual stream like mine. My plan is to stream on the weekends, when I have the time and feel like it, so nothing is set in stone, at least not for the schedule.

As for the game… *looking up at the banner image*… I think that’s pretty obvious.

My plan is simple enough: I want to start over, after a fashion. I’m going to be creating a brand-new character, my fourth overall, and leveling them through the game. I will be using most of my normal mods, but certain major cheats (Ramtech 2.0, for example) will be disabled for this run, at least until I have earned 10 runs through the Unity.

I will be keeping certain quality-of-life mods running, such as the one that auto-completes the Temple “puzzles” (which aren’t puzzles at all, just annoying 3D whack-a-mole bullshit). That is certainly considered to be a cheat by many people, but I really don’t care. I’m playing “Starfield” for fun, and livestreaming for fun, so including frustrating ‘content’ that honestly really doesn’t matter is not going to keep things light and fun.

Stealing ships is fun. Raiding Points of Interest (thanks to the Dark Universe mods) is fun. Building ships and crafting weapons and armor (see the “DarkStar” mod) is always a lot of fun.

So that’s what I’m going to do. Play some “Starfield”, Livestream it, and hopefully have some fun along the way. If something comes up and I can’t stream some weekend, or I can only stream for a limited amount of time, that’s fine, because I’m only doing this as a casual thing.
